We are currently seeking to recruit a talented scientist to join our Platform Engineering group. The scientist will join our team to engineer and further innovate our blood-brain barrier Transport Vehicle platform enabling delivery of large-molecule therapeutics to the brain.
Utilize yeast display, phage display and other in vitro selection technologies to screen proteins with desired properties
Use structure guided approaches to design and build high-content protein and antibody libraries using combinatorial and rational protein engineering methodologies
Characterize engineered proteins and antibodies through in vitro biochemical assays
Optimize engineered proteins and antibodies through affinity maturation and directed engineering efforts
PhD in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field with 0 - 5 years of industry or post-doctoral experience
Hands on experience building and screening combinatorial protein libraries using in vitro display technologies
Proficiency in molecular biology, including site-directed mutagenesis, gene assembly and cloning
Understanding of biochemical assays for measuring protein-protein interactions, such as flow cytometry, SPR/BLI and ELISA.
Understanding of in vitro biophysical and structural properties of proteins and antibodies, with a proficiency in protein stability characterization and molecular modelling software tools.
