We are looking for a Field Application Engineer- Biosciences to support our rapidly growing global marketing team with meaningful content and materials for our innovative cell analysis portfolio. Expectations and Responsibilities:
Build the CELLINK brand through customer communication, training, workshops, and do live demonstrations for potential and new users
Work with marketing to drive initiatives, enhance campaigns and building materials for the US market
You will have individual responsibility for main specific customer accounts, and are expected to be autonomous; however, you will be part of a growing team of people focused on the US market. You will work in close collaboration with the management, scientists, and sales team at the company
Prepare technical reports on customer visits, conferences, new research areas, and applications
Attend conferences and symposiums to assist sales and collect information on new emerging trends in the field
Keep up with the scientific literature to identify new trends and areas of research and development
Work closely with the sales team to identify issues that customers are having
Be the face and spirit of CELLINK in the field
Work directly with the end-user and help solve their problems and advance their research
Make sure the customer is educated about their instrument
Show that we support our instrumentation with the utmost professionalism
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Biology related field
Previous technical expertise working in the laboratory in the biotech field is preferred
Previous experience with liquid handling is required
Experience with single cell assays are required
Knowledge of liquid class development
Knowledge of building methods on liquid handlers
Knowledge of cell and genomics workflows
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in English
Travel Requirements 150-180 days
