As a Staff Accountant you will be joining our growing Finance Team! Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the monthly financial close, the processing of accounts payable, and overseeing day-to-day financial operations. In addition, you will actively collaborate cross-functionally. Ideally, you will be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and have the ability to work well in a team environment. The position requires a deadline-driven individual with attention to detail. Dyno is experiencing significant growth and this position will be provided with opportunities for growth as the Finance group continues to expand.
Manage the day-to-day transactional accounting activities, including accounts payable processing, cash disbursements, and corporate credit card administration while focusing on ways to continually improve processes.
Prepare month-end and quarter-end reconciliations, including cash, accounts payable, prepaids and fixed assets and assist with accelerating the accounting close process.
Participate in and provide support for ERP implementation.
Work cross-functionally with People, Operations, and R&D.
Routine communication and follow up with external vendors and third party purchasing provider.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
1-3 years in roles of increasing responsibility, ideally with a mix of public accounting and industry experience.
Knowledge of US GAAP and relevant accounting and financial concepts.
Experience working with an accounting ERP (e.g., NetSuite or other Oracle Platform, etc.) preferred.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Strong focus on attention to detail.
Ability to effectively collaborate with other business functions.
Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Curious to learn new skills and improve processes while working in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment.
