Vincere Biosciences is currently seeking a talented scientific communicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be excited to communicate Vincere’s vision and educate groups with varying scientific backgrounds including pharmaceutical companies, patient advocacy groups, and investors on Vincere’s approach and data. In this role, the candidate will be tasked with managing content creation, brand image, and public awareness, as well as identifying partnership and collaboration opportunities in the life science industry and media. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, who wants to make a significant impact in the life sciences industry. This person will primarily work on-site in the Boston lab so they can communicate with various team members with option for occasional remote work.
Specific responsibilities:
➢ Develop content to communicate corporate vision and scientific findings with groups that have varying scientific backgrounds, including pharmaceutical companies, patients, and investors, specifically:
Video content creation:
Written content creation:
➢ Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers, and distributors in the field, including members of the press
➢ Plan and update website content:
➢ Update content on social media by posting to LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter:
➢ Deliver regular reports to senior management on communications and performance
➢ Identify partnership and branding opportunities in the life science industry and media
Qualifications:
➢ PhD Preferred, MS or BS in biological sciences will be considered
➢ 2+ years of industry experience in launching and running successful communication initiatives
➢ Genuine excitement for amplifying value through storytelling
➢ Demonstrated initiative, business acumen, and creative thinking
➢ Portfolio of exemplar content from prior projects
➢ Previous experience in life science industry strongly preferred
➢ Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, organization
➢ Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills
