Loyal is hiring a (Veterinary) Clinical Operations Associate. You’ll join our small but rapidly growing Clinical team to help execute all aspects of clinical study coordination, training and monitoring in the veterinary/animal health space. You’ll help team leads across specialties- from development to legal and finance- to manage relationships with study personnel and to execute on protocols required to carry out scientifically rigorous veterinary clinical studies in compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role is for someone who understands the veterinary clinical setting, is detail-minded, meticulous, organized, and diligent, and would enjoy the dynamic, collaborative, and high growth environment of a mission driven startup.

You will work with the Clinical team to:
Be the face of Clinical Operations at Study Sites, creating and maintaining critical relationships with veterinary teams
Support all aspects of the clinical study from start-up tasks to completion
Contribute feedback to the study protocol
Design study-specific paper and electronic data capture (EDC) case report forms (CRF)
Continually develop and adapt Clinical Operations templates and processes
Collaborate with Clinical Data Management to build the EDC system for the study
Recruit Study Sites and ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements and Clinical Trial Agreements are executed
Create study training materials and train Study Personnel and Investigators
Serve as main point of contact between the Sponsor and Study Sites during implementation and execution of clinical studies
Monitor, correct, and maintain study data in real time and in accordance with GCP regulations
Responsible for test article documentation and drug reconciliation at Study Sites
Perform monitoring visits at Study Sites and document findings on monitoring reports
Execute non-traditional study designs
Identify and anticipate challenges in non-traditional clinical study designs and propose solutions to mitigate challenges when possible
Support clinical study logistics and details on timeline and budget
Advise and update monitoring and data management activities for clinical studies
Collaborate and sync with all teams and stakeholders as necessary to ensure timely completion of non-pivotal and pivotal studies
Provide updates, reporting and feedback to all project teams on status of clinical studies
You will be responsible for making our clinical studies a success so we can continue to grow Loyal and push forward the biology from in Fido to regulatory approval.
Who You Are
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in life science field or equivalent experience
Previous experience in veterinary or human clinical research roles
Comfortable working with staff in veterinary clinical setting
Strong communication skills
