For an innovative and groundbreaking research in regenerative medicine, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Upstream bioprocesses research-assistant. In this role, your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining tissue culture bioreactors and analytical equipment. You will work as a part of the upstream process development team to design and optimize production bioprocesses, troubleshoot equipment/process issues, and ensure product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative cultivation methodologies using state-of-the-art equipment
- Operate and maintain bioreactors and related equipment, including assembly, sterilization and setup
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure optimal performance and product quality
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all process operations and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- MSc / PhD in molecular biology. Experience in stem-cells / bioreactors is an advantage
- BSc in materials/ biomedical engineer + 3 years’ experience in similar role.
- Experience with fermentors and/or bioreactors
- Experience with TFF
- Use of HPLC or ACTA high-resolution systems.
- Background in cleaning and characterizing proteins, antibodies, viruses.
- Preferably from a company with a production line.
