BioAge Labs is a clinical-stage venture-backed biotechnology company headquartered in Richmond, CA. About the position
We are seeking a high-energy, high-grit, organized and detail-oriented entrepreneurial operations generalist to join BioAge as the company’s first Chief of Staff. This individual will partner with the CEO to refine and communicate company strategy to internal and external stakeholders, help ensure that different departments meet their key goals in alignment with the company’s overarching corporate and business strategy objectives, and in general serve as the CEO’s right hand. This is a very important role for the company, and a unique position that can serve as excellent preparation for the founder / C suite by immersing you in a high-growth, rapidly evolving biotechnology startup developing new medicines.
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
Previous experience in management consulting (i.e. McKinsey/Bain/BCG), venture capital, or private equity
5+ years of progressive experience as a high achiever at venture-backed biotechnology or technology startups
PhD in the life sciences and/or MBA a strong plus
Proven ability to effectively manage complex and ambiguous projects, influence stakeholders without direct authority, effectively network across organizations and communicate with senior leaders, all within a very dynamic, fast paced environment
Highly collaborative with experience working with very different personalities from different backgrounds / skillsets
Strong ownership mindset; gets things done no matter the obstacle
Exceptional sense of urgency

You’re excited about partnering with the CEO on a daily basis, and helping her to efficiently and effectively manage the Board of Directors, investors, and company as a whole
