Loyal is developing drugs to extend dog lifespan; we aim to build the defining aging company. Loyal was founded in early 2020 and has raised over $50M from Khosla, First Round Capital, Collaborative Fund, Longevity Fund, Quiet Capital, BoxGroup, and more. Loyal is working on bringing to market the first drugs intended to extend lifespan (years of life) and healthspan (quality of life). We aspire to build a pharma brand people love around deeply technical products. While we are currently focusing on dog drugs, our ultimate aim is to take what we learn in dogs to leapfrog into human aging drugs, and build the company that catalyzes and captures the public’s excitement around aging therapeutics.
About the role
We are hiring a Head of Operations with a focus on people. You will be managing the People Operations team and serve as a thought partner for the Director of People Operations.
Your day to day may include:
Work with the Director of People Operations to build out Loyal’s people and operations strategy utilizing data and analytical insights
Build out reports and dashboards to support the leadership team to make better informed decisions
Lead, coach and oversee a team
Manage third party relationships around compliance, benefits, payroll, accounting
Optimize systems and automate processes to support the people, and operations teams (HRIS- Rippling, ATS - Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, Ramp, Lattice, Carta, ElectricAI)
Develop and build first in class onboarding program to support our expansion
Revamp and manage recruiting operations
Build out employee development framework (performance management, compensation to ensure fair pay across bands / organization, career trajectories)
Surface data /insights to help with strategic employee engagement and wellness initiatives
