Position Description:
Calico is inviting applications from innovative scientists to join our Genomics Technology lab. Our lab is focused on understanding the age-related decline in epigenetic/transcriptional/genomic regulation and how it both impacts and reflects healthy aging and longevity. The ideal candidate is an intensely curious individual passionate about developing and applying creative NGS-based molecular methods to answer questions that are otherwise intractable in a variety of aging models and contexts.
Your primary responsibilities include identifying exciting avenues of aging research, collecting, and analyzing novel multi-omic genomics datasets, formulating actionable hypotheses, performing experiments in aging contexts, and working closely with collaborators across labs at Calico applying genomics-based assays.
This role will require close collaboration with Calico experts in our Computing, Biochemistry, and Physiology labs.
