    • Design, execute and interpret preclinical experiments focused on oncology and immunology translational programs.
    • Perform ex vivo PD assessment assays (basic biochemical and immunological methods including cell culture, multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA/multiplex assays.
    • Excellent time management skills and manage experiments in several projects concurrently.
    • Maintain accurate experimental records and generate scientific data reports for project team discussion and future publications.
    • Comply with Calico IACUC regulations, animal use protocols, experimental study design protocols and standard operating procedures in place for conducting in vivo studies.
    • Must be willing to work onsite at least four days per week.

    Qualifications:

    • Recent PhD with relevant lab experience or BS/MS with minimum 10+ years of industry experience.
    • Proven track record of hands-on experience with the creation and development of in vivo mouse tumor models and their application in evaluating anti-cancer therapies.
    • Experience in developing cancer immunotherapeutics is highly desired.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $127,000 - $147,000. Actual pay will be based on a number of factors including experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for two annual cash bonuses.
